Yoga

The word yoga comes from Sanskrit, an ancient Indian language. Literally yoga means union between the clean conscious and the individual conscious of every person. Yoga means achieving balance of the three levels of human existence – physical, mental and spiritual. It shows the path leading to discover yourself. Yoga also helps the body to stay healthy, strong and functional.

Yoga has 5 basic points:

  1. Correct exercises called asanas
  2. Correct breathing called pranayama
  3. Correct relaxation
  4. Correct meal – yoga recommends vegetarian foods.
  5. Positive thinking and meditation – this is the most important point. The most famous direction of Yoga philosophy is Hatha yoga. The syllable “ha” is the sun, and “tha” is the moon which combines the physical and mental energy.
